Our story

A studio built for families, not crowds.

SBM Fitness was founded by Yuhui Chen with a quiet, deliberate goal — to create a small private facility where Menlo Park families could train without distraction. No mirrors lined with strangers. No music turned up to cover bad coaching. Just one coach, one client, and a real plan.

Over time SBM grew into something closer to a community than a gym — parents and kids, executives and retirees, all working toward strength, mobility, and a calmer relationship with their bodies. Sessions are appointment-only on purpose. It's what allows us to keep things personal.
